Night scenes of Maiko-Ohkura

There are two artificial seashore parks developed with Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge (Pearl Bridge) which is the longest suspension bridge in the world between the Maiko of Kobe and the Okura of Akashi. The views are beautiful and the lighting at night especially charms people.

For a camera this is a very challenging scene since there is big luminosity difference in these subjects. Since exposure time becomes long, it is also important that the noise level is kept low. Moreover, since there is an intense backlight in many cases, the backlight tolerance of a lens is also tested. And of course, the colors are very important. Sigma SD1 and the EX lenses met all demands.

I am happy to share the (night) scenery of the seashore and the streets near the seashore captured with SD1 and EX lenses.
