I am using SD15, hope that I can get a SD1 in the future.
Henry, you should see what you can do with a new (or old) lens first. I’ve had some very good results with the old 400mm F5.6 APO HSM. Good glass is necessary for the resolution of the SD1 and Sigma has always made good glass for those who don’t mind paying for it. The truth is that some of that old good glass can be found very cheap second hand and provided the optics are still good will be very rewarding on the SD15, which is a great camera.
